Age of conan 7 hour server downtime
Hey everyone,
Today in my age of conan blog I will be discussing the massive server downtime, some shady leveling and my progression.
Downtime
It looks as if the age of conan early access is pretty much limited to about a day for me. The servers were taken down quite a bit during peak hours. Yesterday was roughly 4 hours and today is about 7 hours. I hope this isn’t a problem come launch. Here is a picture of the large downtime for today. The rough estimate for non early access people entering AoC is 12PM EST. If that is upheld it remains to be seen.
Shady Leveling
Exploit leveling is nothing new in MMORPGs. Age of conan now has its share of exploit levelers. Apparently the exploit has something to do with a wanted sign post and multiple hand ins. The quest gives 10k EXP which is quite a large amount. That is about 1/3 of your bar in the 20s - 30s. So I thought I was being left in the dust by being slow. I guess not =P
My Progression
I am now level 28 on the Tyranny PvP server. My Bear Shaman is much improved from being constantly wrecked by anything with two legs previously. I can’t wait to further test out the Bear Shaman at higher levels.

Do you know anything about the EU servers as well? I presume it’s the same.. But I can’t access official forums from here..

As always, those cheating bastards will find a way around everything.
Hows lvl20+ playing like btw? ive been lurking about at mmorpg.com and they all complain that the 20+ stuff is really lackluster and unpolished compared to the starting zone? granted i havent even played the game yet myself, but its always good to hear peoples opinion before a purchase, positive and negative
anyway keep going strong! post some pics of your char aswell if you may as armormodels etc apparently get awsome lvl25+ (again something ive read)

Huma: I believe the EU servers weren’t affected by this however I could be wrong. I think the standard 12PM EST was what I last heard.
Hordak: I thought the zones were fine. I believe that they are standard MMORPG zones. The only thing I think people are talking about is the voice acting. I don’t think there is as much as there is in Tortage. However it could be a bug and I could be wrong. I’ll post my character asap. The way they look post 25+ is indeed very cool.
